Oxfam is making urgent plans to scale up significantly in Sierra Leone and Liberia, aiming to reach up to 4 million people in the two countries. It is imperative that immediate action is taken in the next 60 days to bring the infection rate down because it is out of control. If we are going to meet this challenge, we need a team of skilled humanitarian specialists.

The key responsibilities of the roles will be:
Senior Programme Manager
- Overall response lead
- Ensure all staff work within a healthy environment and maintain SoPs
- Deal with Staff discipline and HR issues as required
- Work with the CD to define programme strategy and delivery methodologies
- Responsible for overall quality and relevance of the response
- Ensuring high quality reporting and accountability both internally and to donors
- Responsible for ensuring adequate resourcing people and finances - for the duration of the response
- Provide effective risk identification and management of the response
- Provide high quality staff management and leadership
- Ensure integration and alignment of the response into the overall country programme
- High level representation inside the country and at a regional level if required
Programme Managers
- Lead the delivery of a thematic or area based part of the programme
- Work with the Senior Programme Manager to ensure the overall quality of this part of the response.
- Ensuring high quality reporting and accountability both internally and to donors
- Regular budget management and development of new pieces of work
- Responsible for ensuring adequate resourcing people and finances
- Maintain effective relationships with local actors
