Its major clients include the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW), among others. LFS has built a network of specialized small business banks (AccessBanks) for which it acts as the management company and holds significant ownership.
ABOUT THE JOB:
LFS is seeking Bank Specialists/Bank Managers. S/he will be responsible for primarily supporting the development and/or expansion of credit products, especially SME lending or retail banking.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provide recruitment and training relevant to local specialists, as well as the support of organization's middle managers in the development and introduction of new credit products;
- Monitor and optimize processes, improve structures, and conduct risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- Qualified banker (vocational training in a European bank desirable) and/or have several years of experience in banking with an emphasis in the areas of lending, SME finance or retail banking;
- Developing multicultural staff means fun and excitement;

- Excellent interpersonal skills enable honest and open communication;
- Strong interest in responsible banking as well as in our target group;
- Fluent in English and desirably also French or Portuguese.
