by Unknown  |  at  2:30 AM

Chemonics seeks a grants manager for the anticipated West Africa Biodiversity and Climate Change (WA-BiCC) Activity, a five-year, $50 million project aiming to improve conservation and climate-resilient, low emission growth across West Africa. WA-BiCC is part of USAID's wider efforts to coordinate closely with regional West African Partners, such as ECOWAS, to advance broad-based economic growth and resilience in the region. Most activities will be in targeted geographical areas, such as the coastal zone and the inland forests, to improve governance and policy over critical natural and human systems, while others will be at broader policy/institution levels. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with six years of experience or a master's degree and four years of experience
  • Demonstrated success in managing USAID program grants
  • Demonstrated knowledge in grants solicitation, procurement and management, financial oversight, and strengthening capacity for grants oversight and implementation
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Required oral and written communication and presentations skills in French (tested FSI R2/S2) and English
