The web development team at Bournemouth University is responsible for the creation and delivery of innovative online solutions for staff, students and beyond. The team is responsible for a number of systems that are deeply integrated into the back office processes and business package applications. As a team we are looking into new original ways to utilise web technologies in a way that enhances the experience of all at Bournemouth University. The number of services required to help drive Bournemouth University forward in an increasingly competitive market continues to grow, and the web services development team are at the forefront of this.
You will work on the analysis, design, development and testing of a number of approved projects for Bournemouth University. Working closely with customers, suppliers and with colleagues in teams across IT Services, you are expected to deliver great user experiences using high quality code in a fast-paced development team.
With significant systems analysis, development and support experience in an agile environment using the .Net technology stack, you will be proactive, willing to research and evaluate new technologies as they emerge and have excellent problem solving and communication skills. Experience of higher education information systems will be useful.
