REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST(CONSULTING SERVICES)
Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD)
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) provides Policy and Capacity building support to its member states. As part of the Danish Government Support to the Secretariat, we are seeking Expression of Interest (EOI) from suitable firms to provide consultancy service on ‘Cross Boarder Pastoral Development Projects in Ethiopia and Kenya: Documenting Best Practices, Lessons Learnt and Constraints.’
The specific objectives of the consultancy service are:
- Assessment of recent Cross boarder Pastoral and Agro-Pastoral development projects in Kenya and Ethiopia
- Document best practices and lessons learnt in the implementation of the cross boarder projects
- Identify key constraints an opportunities in the implementation of the cross boarder projects
- Forward recommendations that would enhance the implementation of cross boarder projects between the two countries.
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the IGAD Procurement and Grants Manual approved on 12th July 2012 and revised on 31st March 2014.
