REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST(CONSULTING SERVICES)
Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD)
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) provides Policy and Capacity building support to its member states. As part of the Danish Government Support to the Secretariat, we are seeking Expression of Interest (EOI) from suitable firms to provide consultancy service on ‘Assessment of Water Development Projects in Pastoral and Agro-Pastoral areas of Kenya.’
The specific objectives of the consultancy service are:
- Review of significant water development projects in ASAL areas of Kenya.
- Document best practice water development and Utilization approaches in ASALA areas of Kenya.
- Explore the reasons for failure of water development projects in ASAL areas of Kenya.
- Forward recommendations for better development and utilization of water resources in ASAL areas of Kenya.
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the IGAD Procurement and Grants Manual approved on 12th July 2012 and revised on 31st March 2014.
