Purpose:
UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a consultant to lead the implementation of Activate Talks (TED-style events) through helping UNICEF offices around the world develop, plan and implement their events.
The project manager also ensures proper execution of grant proposals and reporting. In addition, the project manager works with different project leads within the team to identify grants opportunities and pursue relevant opportunities for funding of initiatives.

Minimum requirements and competencies:
• Five years of management experience. Well-versed in best-practices of project and people
management.
• Effortlessly collaborative, with an ability to communicate across disciplines and pull solutions from all
departments of the organization.
• Inventive: capable of fleshing out features and product specs to make sure all pieces to the puzzle fit.
• Project management (based on agile methodology), including budget monitoring as well grant
management.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Organized, self-sufficient and comfortable multi-tasking.
• Experience in supporting and coordinating communication activities across a large organization and with
other international partner organizations.
• Proven ability to conceptualize, plan and execute ideas as well as transfer knowledge and skills.
• Proven ability to implement proposal requirements, communicate with foundation focal points about
changes and report on programmatic and financial aspects of grants.
