Agriculture and Youth Entrepreneurship Experts
Tanzania
Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd (Cardno) is seeking applicants for an anticipated USAID-funded Youth Entrepreneurshipprogram in Tanzania aimed at increasing economic opportunities for youth in the agriculture value chains, and increasing their income through entrepreneurship, employability, leadership life skills and workforce readiness. Professionals with technical expertise in one of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- Agriculture Value Chain Development
- Entrepreneurship Development
- Youth/Workforce Development
- M & E (Monitoring & Evaluation)
- Grants Management
- Project Administration
- Operations, Project Administration, and Finance
- Public Awareness and Communications
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of expertise;
- 5+ years of experience in technical area;
- Experience working on international donor-funded projects (USAID Preferred)
- Fluency in Kiswahili and English.
Desired Skills and Qualifications for Managers:
- Advanced degree
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage diverse teams
- Ability to establish successful collaborative working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including private sector, government, local organizations, other donors and the media.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Fluency in Kiswahili and English
