Their daily work of our engineers and scientists combines scientific expertise with analytical research and an eye for the legal aspects of intellectual property. As an Engineer / Scientist you will be working in various technical fields.
We are looking for
The EPO still has some vacancies to fill in 2015 within applied physics, computer science, and telecommunications. If you have a Master’s degree in physics, chemistry, engineering or natural sciences, a good working knowledge of at least two of our official languages (English, French and German) and the willingness to learn the third, you too could be part of our team of patent examiners in Munich or The Hague.
We offer
A competitive salary, an excellent social package, and varied work in a modern international environment. The net (basic) monthly salary* for this vacancy ranges from EUR 4 500 to 6 500, depending on experience. In addition, depending on their personal circumstances, EPO staff may be entitled to relocation benefits and various allowances (e.g. household, dependant's, childcare, education, expatriation, installation and rent allowance).
* after deduction of EPO internal tax and before deduction of staff contributions to the social-security and pension schemes.
