Marketing Manager (North, West & Central Africa) | Qatar Airways | Casablanca

About Your Job:
In this role, you will support the development, planning and implementation of all marketing activity (online & offline channels), social media, FFP, CSR & PR, so as to drive revenue and grow loyalty of all QR products from all distribution channels and targeted audiences as defined in the sub region portfolio under the supervision of Regional Office Marketing and Manager North, Central and West Africa.

You will also lead the Marketing team across the sub region and directly contribute to the delivery of the markets revenue targets by assisting in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for existing and new markets, as well as offline markets. You will ensure compliance to marketing and commercial strategy across the market and ensure that marketing activities are performed to plan and budget.

Specific accountabilities include:
Defining and executing a multi-channel marketing strategy to deliver growth by identifying and targeting new customers and maximizing existing customer relationships.
Defining and implementing a cohesive brand strategy across the entirety of the sub-region; assuming the role of brand guardian and driving appropriate engagement with the customer in all forms of communication.

Overseeing all aspects of the marketing function both off-line and online channels and ensuring approvals are obtained from Regional office.
Delivering a marketing approach which is driven by data, insight and a clear understanding of attribution in relation to return on investment.
Building strong relationships with commercial marketing partners and delivering effective mutually beneficial joint marketing vehicles.
Contributing to the overall marketing & business strategy across the sub region.
Effectively controlling the marketing and communications budget.
Ensuring all outsourced agency contracts are monitored and deliver against all set requirements pre-approved by Regional Office – Marketing.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant Bachelor degree or diploma (preferably in Marketing and Communications) combined with a minimum of five years relevant experience.  Experience in an online marketing agency or e-commerce industry is a strong advantage.  You will need significant experience in developing and implementing strategic plans and must have exposure and understanding of the North, West, and Central Africa travel market.  A background in the travel and/or airline industry would be ideal along with prior experience in a multination company.
You will need fluent communication skills in English (both written and oral) to perform this role.
