ERP Project Specialist will drive the implementation of standard services processes by adopting the existing global template on Oracle ERP platform. In this high visible role you will be responsible for leading the change which involves successful adoption of a new Services ERP at Services sites in West Africa resulting in services simplification. | |
The ERP Project Specialist develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. · • Plan, manage and deliver the Services ERP implementation supporting the business operations & growth, resulting in high levels of Customer satisfaction maximize margin/value • Change Management: Engagement with local site Operations & functional teams to ensure the processes are adopted through articulation of needs for change and benefits. • Stakeholder management with Global Services, Subsea Staff, regional site & leadership with regular communication & governance especially related to change management, resolving issues related to project goals & objectives. You will work closely with overall Services Global Operations team and regional GGO teams to leverage the blueprint processes and address deviation. • Lead project team, including partners, identify & manage risks, monitor financial and operational performance against the agreed timescales, and initiates corrective action where appropriate. • Overall project ownership and responsibility for multiple person Services process matrix teams including Field services, Rental, Repairs, Spares, Solutions, Install base • Resolve specification and design issues, manage correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate / coordinate with staff as appropriate | |
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a process improvement role) · At least 3 additional years of experience in leading and participating in process improvement activities · Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time, in addition, open to short term project relocation (6-9 months) to other African countries | |
· Strong project management skills · Detail oriented and accountable for completion of work and assignments · Ability to work well with a variety of cultures and personalities · Ability to draw upon experiences and adapt throughout different business cycles · Established credibility with peers and managers based on experience · Team oriented, self motivated, and demonstrated inquisitive nature · Ability to adapt easily to changing environment · Six Sigma training is preferred (GE emplyees only) · Strong oral and written communication skills · Strong interpersonal and leadership skills |
