Vacancy for Director, Internal Audit and Senior Manager, Underwriting & Marketing for Maghreb Region
The African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa Re) is a pan-African International Financial Institution, with Headquarters in Lagos (Nigeria). Its shareholding comprises of African States, the AfDB, 108 African insurance and reinsurance companies, IFC, DEG, PROPARCO and IRB-Brasil Re.
Africa Re has both commercial and developmental mission. Its mission is to develop insurance and reinsurance markets in Africa and to develop African economies. That mission is carried out through provision of reinsurance capacity and cover, technical assistance and capacity building to insurance companies.
The Corporation would like to fill the following vacancies which require candidates with exceptional competencies and experience:
1. Director, Internal Audit (based in Lagos):
The successful candidate will supervise the Audit Function across the Group and will report directly to the GMD/CEO and to the Finance and Audit Committee of the Board.
2. Senior Manager, Underwriting & Marketing for Maghreb Region (based in Casablanca):
The successful candidate will be in charge of the marketing, sales and underwriting within his regional market. He/she will report directly to the Regional Director of Casablanca Regional Office.
