If you have extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation policies, systems, methods and approaches we have the perfect platform for your skills at ActionAid International. As Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor we will look to you to strengthen organisational performance and champion a culture of accountability to ensure we continue to work efficiently at helping people use their own power to fight poverty and injustice.
As Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor you will support a DFID PPA grant ensuring we meet reporting requirements. This will involve building stakeholder relationships, coordinating planning and reporting within the International Secretariat, monitoring progress, integrating processes as well as ensuring global M&E data is collated effectively. You will also support country members with M&E technical advice and guidance as well as facilitate the development of our approach, standards, methods and tools within the framework of our international strategy. This will include improving and developing new monitoring and evaluation techniques for women’s rights across all thematic areas of work.
With a Masters (or equivalent experience) in development related social sciences, you will have excellent knowledge of organisational learning approaches and substantial experience in international development/human rights programming. You will have a good understanding of monitoring and evaluation approaches and in particular experience in women’s rights and relevant gender-sensitive M&E methodologies, including programmatic gender audits. Expert at producing reporting you must also be an effective communicator with strong analytical and conceptual skills.
